Heat Transfers

Plastisol Transfers: When we can't fit certain items on the printing presses, but plastisol ink needs to be used, there is another technique which shows off this ink's versatility. Plastisol never cures unless subjected to more than 300°F. So when a cap or other non flat surface needs decorating, the plastisol is first printed on special paper and partially cured. Then using a heat press the plastisol ink is transfered onto the item at the set curing temp to finish curing it and bonding it to the item.

Inkjet Transfers: The most cost effective of apparel decoration is the  inkjet iron-on transfer. Rapido offers this service when the garment will most likely be used only a few times and does not need to meet certain quality standards. Perfect for one time use. Although using commercial grade products, the transfer will not last as long as the shirt like screenprinting methods due to the process used to achieve this result.
